
IDA Suggests CDA to Allot Possession of Auctioned Plots with 50% Payment
Islamabad: The Islamabad Developer Association (IDA) has suggested the Capital Development Authority (CDA) offer possession of commercial plots on at least 50% payment. It was proposed for the commercial plots auctioned in January 2024. This proposal is considered to be beneficial for all the involved stakeholders while enhancing the revenue bracket for the CDA at better rates.

According to the sources, the meeting took place between the officials of CDA and IDA aiming at improving the revenues. This proposal is also expected to benefit the successful development of projects through open auction of commercial plots.
Several officials and other respected entities were present at the occasion from IDA and CDA, including prominent figures such as CEO Centaurus, Sardar Ilyas Khan.
It is pertinent to mention that IDA also requested to extend the payment deadline of 30 working days along with the implementation of a 2-yearly instalment plan. Moreover, IDA officials also requested the CDA to revise the area of parking space from 750 sq. ft. back to 1,000 sq. ft.
