
Senate Standing Committee Receives Briefing on FGEHA Projects
Islamabad: Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority
(FGEHA)
revealed that the authority had launched 12 apartment projects in Islamabad from 2001 to 2023.
These measures were taken to address the increasing residential needs of the Federal employees gradually.

According to the sources, the project has generated a whopping collection of Rs. 56 Billion so far.
The Director General Zafar Iqbal briefed the Senate Standing Committee on Housing and Works that huge
sums of finances have been collected from the candidates falling on the criteria.
The committee was chaired by the Haji Hidayatullah Khan.
It was announced that:
- G-14/1 (Partially Completed with Cost PKR 6,127.90 Million)
- G-14/2 and G-14/3 (Partially Completed with Cost PKR 1,499.43 Million)
- G-15/3 (Partially Completed with Cost PKR 1,453.866 Million)
Some other important details were also highlighted the contract for the land G-14/1
is still pending due to property issues that are resulting in the cancellation of plots.
