FBR Issued Deadline to Submit Tax Proposals for Budget 2024-25

Islamabad: e Federal Board of Revenue(FBR) Th has asked for the swift submission of tax proposals from foreign investors for the budget 2024-25. Multinational Corporations are also requested the same. It is being urged to streamline and promptly complete the pre-requisites for the fiscal year`s budget.

According to the sources, the FBR has set a close deadline of March 11, 2024 for both the field formations and the business community to present their suggestions with regard to the Sales Tax, Federal Excise Duty, Income Tax, and ICT Ordinance, 2001.

The FBR has stressed upon solving the challenges in the Federal Tax Regulations (FTR) and highlighted the particular areas for proposals along with the amendments to the pertinent ordinances and acts. The aim is to manage the tax evasions, rectify procedural deficiencies, expand the tax net and offer better services to the taxpayers.
