Ramadan 2024 Moon Sighted: Happy Ramzan to all Pakistanis and Muslim Ummah
Islamabad: Islamabad: The Ramzan 2024 moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and other parts of the country on Sunday, 11th March 2024. The crescent moon started the holiest month in Islam. Muslims are now devoting this month to abstaining from wrongdoings and sins and spending most of the time in prayers and other good deeds. People also increase charity in the month. The rest of the Muslims will start the month of Ramzan the next day on 12th March, 2024.
Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will gather today and observe the moon sighting in Peshawar and announce the start of the month of Ramadan reflecting the beginning of Taraweeh prayers as well. The holy month in Pakistan is being started with a heavy surge of inflation causing doubts and concerns among the population.
Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will preside over the meeting for moon sightings. He will also be shedding light on the holy month and its significance for the Ummah.
Today, the meeting of the Committee will be facilitating the observation and announcement of the Ramadan moon sighting, while ensuring the commencement of the blessed month is precisely determined for the Muslims in the country.

The Punjab Province has also launched the Ramzan Relief Package with the name “Nigehban Ramadan Package 2024” worth billions. Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif and the Federal Government have also unveiled the Ramzan Relief Package providing relief of PKR 12.5 Billion to the people of Pakistan. Both programs will also be food packages to the needy from mobile centres and permanent relief centres.
