Punjab Govt Approves Innovation City Project in Lahore

Lahore: The Punjab Government has approved the Innovation City Project in Lahore worth Rs. 100 Billion. The impact of this initiative will be creating almost 1 million jobs. The government has decided to elevate the economic conditions of the province by generating a business and job-oriented environment for the people.

According to the sources, this project was previously stopped but is now revived by this government. It is not being launched with a new brand name “Nawaz Sharif Innovation City” under the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority ( PCBDA ). The newly elected Punjab Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also directed to allocate PKR 10 Billion for funding.

• IT City
• Film City
• Education City
• Commercial and Residential Zones
