CDA Raised Property Tax Rates Across Capital Territory

Islamabad:The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a raise in Property Tax Rates covering the whole Capital Territory. This measure will foster revenue generation and will be providing concessions to the employees of private organisations and the government employees. But this will be applicable to the employees who submit their dues by September 30 of each year.

According to the sources, the raise in property tax will not be applicable for:

• Hospitals
• Libraries
• Educational institutions
• Federal and provincial government offices

But semi-governmental entities will fall under the criteria for this property tax increase. The details for this raise are:

Area	Tax
E-11, Model Towns, PHA Kurri Housing Scheme	Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 200,000
Park Enclave	Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 227,000
DHA, Bahria Town, Bahria Enclave	Rs. 27,000 to Rs. 298,000

Several other areas will also be falling under new tax raise including Gulberg, Naval Anchorage, D Series, G Series, F Series, and I Series.
