
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi Plans to Organize 9,000 Matches in Four Months
Islamabad:The newly appointed Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket
Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi has planned to conduct almost 9,000
cricket matches over the period of the coming four months. He was addressing a press
conference at the National Stadium Karachi and stated “Last year, we arranged 2,700
domestic matches, and our goal is to increase this number to 9,000 matches within
the next four months”.

According to the sources, organizing 9,000 matches will be conducted to promote
cricket in Pakistan while offering a chance for positive entertainment to the people
of Pakistan.
Mr. Naqvi further expressed “The Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in Pakistan,
and we are fully equipped for it. We pray to Allah that this event proceeds as
planned in Pakistan. We have no intention of holding the Trophy in any other country
or under a hybrid model”.
He also expressed his remarks on the preparation of pitches for the upcoming cricket matches by importing soil from England and Australia.

PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi stressed the proper functionality of the Selection Committee to appoint a capable Captain for the National Cricket Team. He also mentioned empowering the selection committee to maintain proper accountability and any interference in their duties will be avoided at all costs.
